UNO Dice game is a card game with decks of specially designed styles. It is an American game and was first played with cards. The developer of this unique game was Merle Robbins in the year 1971 in Ohio. The game is played by anyone above seven years old and can be played between 2 to 10 players.
The UNO dice game is a recent modification of the card game. The dice game was started in the year 2011 on the eve of Christmas season. The game consists of 11 dices with a soda can that is common to all other Mattel dice games. All the 11 dices are unique, and each has some kind of combination of faces which may be of the four colours of yellow, green, blue and red. The can which holds all these dices is very similar to a soda can but with UNO theme.
Uno Dice Rules
Unlike the UNO cards game, the UNO Dice game is specifically designed for only two players, and hence due to this reason there are no reverse and skip cards, or dices in this game. There are 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, draw one, draw two and wild faces in the dices. All such dices make to 11, and hence the two players make use of these 11 dices and the tin can to play the game. With the game just for two players makes it fast and people play it mostly while travelling, or when they are in no mood to waste much time playing so, this makes for a quick break. This version of Uno is similar to the other Uno games; you have to reach a certain point (200) before your opponents and get rid of all the dices.
Uno Dice Gameplay
The game is played in a similar manner as the original Uno card game. I the beginning of the game, five dices are randomly distributed to the each of the two players. The remaining one dice of the 11 dices is placed in the middle of the play area, and it forms the dicing line. The player to start the game will first roll the dice and will try to match the colour or the number on the latest placed dice on the dicing line. If the player succeeds to match either of the two conditions, then that dice are placed on the dicing line, and the next player will have to match the same. They have to do the same and match the dices till at least one of the two have only one dice left in their hand and the other four dices on the dicing line. At the time when that player has only one dice left then he or she has to say ‘UNO’ loud otherwise they will be penalised.
The Uno Dice Line is the ‘Draw Pile’, and the dices are added consequently on this line. The orientation of this dice line can be anything be it horizontal or vertical and the last dice placed dice is the dice to which the new coming dices have to be matched. The match can be of either the number of the two dices or the colour.

The other requirement or condition associated with this dice line is that there must be at least one dice always on the dicing line and because of this condition there are 11 dices (one dice extra). And also for example, if one player plays ‘draw two’ and there are only two dices in the draw line then the other player can only draw one dice and left behind one dice on the dicing line. During the roll out if there is only one dice on the dicing line and the player who rolled the dice has got no match then he can roll once again, but if even if in the second chance there is no match then his chance is skipped. If anytime one player draws a dice from the dicing line, then he or she can roll their dice once, and if in this roll they got a match then they can play it on that turn. But if the player is drawing dice from the dicing line because of the Draw One or Draw Two then they cannot play any further role after their turn.
The Action Dice
Apart from the number and colours on the dices, there are some action symbols on the dice.
The Draw One: in the dice, the other player has to take out one dice from the end of the dicing line and miss one turn and roll all their dice. This dice is played if the last dice in the dicing line is matching the colour or another Draw One.
Draw Two: similar to the Draw one, except that now the other player has to take out two dices instead of just one.
Wild: The player gets to choose or change the colour to continue the game.

The game starts with both the players rolling a dice, the one with the maximum number on the roll will be the one to start the game. And the symbols on the sixth face is considered to be zero. As already mentioned that each player will have five dice each and the remaining one dice is placed in between to begin the dice line formation. The face of the starter dice is decided by rolling it till a number appears on the uppermost face. Now the player to start the game will roll all of the five dices, and he or she aims to match the starter dice in either colour or number. If there is a match, then that dice is placed next to the starter dice in the dicing line. If there is no match to the last dice of the dicing line, then you must take the last dice from the dicing line and again roll all of your dice. If now there is a match then you can play it, or otherwise, you will lose your turn.
The value of the dice of the number dices are the face value and the value of the Draw One and Draw Two are 20, and the value of the Wild dice is 50. The first player to score 200 points in the Uno Dice is a winner. Or the first player to get rid of all the dices in his or her hand is also the winner. The winning criteria can also be based on the score of three games played between the players.
