Uno Skip Bo rules
A Skip-Bo deck consists of 162 cards. These include twelve cards each of numbers 1 to 12. The numbered cards are coloured blue (From 1-4), green (From 5-8), Red (From 9-12). However these colors does not matter in the game, just the number on the cards count.
The remaining 18 cards are known as “Skip-Bo” wild cards which can be turned into any number. In absence of Skip-Bo official cards, the 162 cards could be three decks of general playing cards, including the jokers, with ace to queen corresponding 1 to 12 and the king and jokers relating to the SKIP-BO wild cards.
Before 1980, the commercial Skip-Bo game consisted of four decks of regular playing cards with eight skip bo junior cards replacing two jokers of each deck. The remainder in the fourth deck was discarded.
The objective of the game is to win by getting rid of all the cards present in your Stock Pile by laying them all down in the Building Piles.

A stock pile is normally a pile that consists of 10, 20 or 30 cards, depending upon the number of players and their decision. The top card of the stock pile is always open and can be used in Building Pile when needed. As long as card from Stock Pile fits into Building pile, the chance does not over.
These are imaginary piles. Each player can use a maximum of four Discard Piles. At the end of a players turn, if he/she is left with cards that are not suitable for Building Piles, they can discard a single card into any of their Discard piles. The player does not need to arrange cards in sequential order in Discard Piles. All cards in Discard Piles must be turned face up.
A Building Pile shall contain a maximum of 12 cards. Since a building Piles needs to be in sequential order, once the Building Pile reaches to card numbered 12, it must be moved out of play area. Once players are short of Draw Pile, these Discarded Building piles shall be shuffled and used again. As inviduals, only a maximum of 4 people can play at a time. However if there are more people in the queue, like six or more, they can play in partnerships. The lesser the number of cards are, the shorter game is. In the game, an individual or a team aims at finishing their entire stock piles. The player at the middle age starts the game. Each player is given 30 cards for their pile. Players display only the top card of the pile in skip hop . Five cards are given to each player in hands. These must be started using either a 1 numbered card or a Skip-Bo wild card. Each player also has upto four personal discard piles. In each turn, the active player draws one card until he has a total of 5 cards in his hands. However, there are cases of not drawing more cards to equal five cards, instead drawing a certain number of cards. They must play either the next card in sequential order or a Skip-Bo wild card, using either card in hand, top card of their stock pile or the top card of any of their four discard piles.
In case the player can play all five cards from his hand, they draw five more cards from the draw pile and continue playing. When no more players are available, the player discards one card to either an empty discard pile or on top of an existing one and play passes to the next player. When the discarded build pile reaches to 12 cards, it is removed from the board and the space is again empty for another pile to start over. The play keeps on until one player has played to the last start card.
For example: Is currently there are two building pile. One pile has 3 on its top and the other has 6. The player who has turn has got 5,6,7,8 and a Skip-Bo wild card in his hand. What he must do is that he must place 7 & 8 on the top of the pile that has top card 6. Then he shall place the Skip-Bo wild card, 5 and 6 on the pile with 3 on the top. Here the Skip-Bo wild card will work as 4 creating this pile in sequential order.
In case a player has card with number 1, he can create a new Building pile. A total of 4 Building piles can be created in the entire game. Once this Building pile reaches the top most card with number 12, the pile is dismantled and kept aside. Always remember to clear off maximum cards from your stock pile as the aim of the game is to be first to get rid of Stock Pile.
