Uno celebrated its 40th birthday in 2011. It is fascinating that someone 46 years ago came up with something like Uno. The birth of Uno came from a man name Merle Robbins, a barber shop owner from Reading, Ohio in 1971. That time Uno trivia used a specially printed deck of 1-9 numbers and command/word cards. In case it is not shuffled properly, the cards distributed will be unfair and advantageous to one.
The cards which are left after distributing the cards are considered as Draw Pile. The top most card is then put face up. That card determines which colour or number the first player should put.
